Nombara Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the Nombara app, the Nombara web booking page, or the Nombara website. By creating an account or booking a token you agree to them. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled.
Who we are
Nombara (“Nombara”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Naaz Global Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered in Sri Lanka (Akurana, Kandy). Contact: nombara@naazglobalcorp.com.
What Nombara is — and is not
Nombara is a booking and queue tool for local dispensaries, dental clinics and Ayurveda practitioners. It lets you take a token for a session and see the live “now serving” number so you can time your arrival.
Nombara is not a medical provider. It does not give medical advice, make diagnoses, or handle prescriptions. All care is between you and the practitioner you see.
In an emergency, do not use Nombara. Call 1990 (Suwa Seriya ambulance) or go to the nearest hospital.
Your account
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time SMS code. Keep your phone and codes to yourself — bookings made from your account are treated as yours.
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account. You may add patient profiles for family members you are responsible for, such as a child or a parent.
- Give real names and ages. The practitioner and reception rely on them when your token is called.
- Staff accounts (reception, collectors, call-centre operators) are issued by Nombara or a dispensary owner and are for that job only.
Tokens and waiting times
- A token is a place in the queue, not a guaranteed appointment time. Online, walk-in and phone bookings all share the same queue, in number order.
- Estimated times are estimates. A practitioner may start late, take longer with a patient, move a session, go on leave or stop a session early. We notify you by app notification or SMS when we are told, but we cannot promise a practitioner will be available.
- If your number is called while you are not there, reception may mark you absent and call the next patient. They may recall you when you arrive, but they do not have to.
Fees and payment
- Nombara does not take card or online payments from patients. Any booking fee and the practitioner’s fee are paid in cash at the dispensary counter.
- If you paid a fee at the counter and the booking is cancelled, any refund is handled by that dispensary under the refund policy it shows you. Nombara does not hold your money.
- Dispensaries pay Nombara a service fee for patients seen through the platform, under a separate agreement with each dispensary.
Fair use
So that real patients are not locked out of a session, you agree to:
- book only for people who actually intend to attend, and cancel in the app as soon as you know you cannot come;
- not book tokens to hold places for resale, to block other patients, or using automated tools;
- not try to access information about other patients or accounts, or to interfere with the service.
Repeated no-shows or booking patterns that look like abuse may lead to a warning, a limit on how many tokens you can hold, or a temporary pause on booking. Limits are lifted automatically over time, and you can contact us if you think one was applied by mistake.
Ratings and comments
After a visit you may rate it. Keep ratings honest and about your own experience. Do not include anyone’s personal or medical details, threats, or abuse. We may remove ratings that break these rules.
Practitioners and dispensaries
- A practitioner listed on Nombara must hold a current registration with the council that matches their category — the Sri Lanka Medical Council (medical or dental register) or the Ayurvedic Medical Council — and must tell us if it lapses. We verify the registration before a practitioner can take bookings.
- Practitioners and dispensaries are solely responsible for the care they give, for keeping session times accurate, and for how their staff treat patients.
- A practitioner’s photo appears on the public website only after their consent is recorded, and can be withdrawn at any time.
- Dispensaries agree to the per-patient service fee and collection arrangements in their onboarding agreement with Nombara.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Nombara running, but it may sometimes be unavailable (for example, during maintenance or if a mobile network or our hosting provider has a fault). We may add, change or remove features.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law of Sri Lanka allows, Nombara is not responsible for medical outcomes, for a practitioner’s or dispensary’s acts or absence, for time you spend waiting, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.
Ending your use
You can stop using Nombara at any time and delete your account from the app menu or by following these steps. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other patients at risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date above. If a change materially affects how you use Nombara, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
